One year ago today, we made the best decision of our lives!

In the last 365 days, we've experienced a lot of wonderful (and scary) things together.

Moved 1,600 miles away  *  Started law school  *  Brett passed the patent bar and became a Registered U.S. Patent Agent  *  Made LOTS of new friends  *  Welcomed 2 new nephews  *  Rode segways around Indianapolis  *  Saw the Utes play at the Big House

If we had to use one word to describe our first year of marriage - we would choose fun.  We have so much fun learning about each other and going through day-to-day things together. We have fun when we think we know each other so well - and then one of us does something completely unpredictable. We have fun when we're exhausted after a long day and all we want to do is sit down and watch Netflix. We have fun when our weekly date nights consist of us going to the mall and playing with the puppies because it's free. We have fun when we drive to the grocery store and pray that our car will last one more trip. We have fun when we point out that we are becoming more and more like our parents.

It's true what they say - time flies when you're having fun. We can't believe a year has already gone by - but we're so grateful for the experiences we've had and will continue to have. Our love grows daily and we can't wait to see what the future holds for us!
